Peter Morville to speak at Yaffe Center Conference 24 Jan 2004
Peter Morville, President of Semantic Studios and Vice President of User Experience for Q LTD, will speak about information architecture and findability at the Yaffe Center's 3rd annual workshop on "Creating Persuasive, Credible Web Sites."
Other featured speakers include Bridget Fahrland, Creative Director at Fry Multimedia and BJ Fogg, Director of the Stanford University Persuasive Technology Lab. The workshop will take place Friday, January 30, 2004, 9am to 12:30pm in Davidson Hall at the University of Michigan Business School. Morville is widely recognized as a founding father of information architecture. He is coauthor of the international best-seller, "Information Architecture for the World Wide Web," (O'Reilly, 2002) and teaches at the University of Michigan School of Information. Since joining Q in 2003, Peter has been leading an effort to integrate user experience best practices into the design process.
