Q Old Europe and New World

In 2003, Q established an informal working relationship with an exceptional marketing communication firm in Germany: Q (Wiesbaden, Berlin). The two Qs collaborate by critiquing each other’s work and consulting on translation problems.

Q Old Europe is exceptional not just because it shares our name. It also creates very effective, award-winning work in all media for a diverse range of European clients, from large international companies to national, regional, and local organizations. For example, Q Old Europe's client roster includes the Rheingau Musik Festival, one of the world's premier summer concert series. The festival presents over 150 classical, jazz, and world-music performances to international audiences in more than 50 venues (monasteries, castles, churches, boats, and wineries).

The Q-Q collaboration means that clients who need powerful, culturally appropriate marketing communications in Europe and/or North America can rely on the best talent on both continents.

The two Qs are also starting a staff exchange program. Friedericke Schaab, who worked at Q Old Europe while earning a degree in Kommunikationsdesign at the University of Applied Sciences, Wiesbaden, is working at Q Ann Arbor this fall. Through December, she will apply her training and experience to identity, print, and web projects for several of our clients in North America.
