A Toast to Q LTD

Hello : : My name is Grace Marie Bienek, and I have been interning at Q LTD over the summer until classes start up again in the fall. I am a vintage enthusiast - I collect, refurbish, re-sew, and adore vintage clothing, furniture, dish ware, nicknacks, and ( of course ) graphic design! My love for old timely things, has spilled into my own work as well as constantly becoming a source to where I look for design inspiration.

As a summer intern, I must say that I have had a splendid time getting to know the people and personality of Q! My internship at Q really helped me understand a bit more how the design world works, as well as how a firm handles their large scale projects in the “real world.” And there’s nothing like the first hand experience of doing your best for a client, rather than a personal design project.

( My only regret: we should have played more Q volleyball! )

I will be spending two more semesters at Eastern Michigan University where I will continue my graphic design studies before I graduate. During this time, I hope to pursue my creative passions and hone in on an identity for which I can market myself as a designer. I am very thankful for my experience at Q LTD, and I'm very grateful for the opportunity to work and learn in a real life design firm. Gee thanks Q! : : Grace Marie
