All Things Q

Always on the lookout for all things Q, during summer retreats to the beautiful province of Quebec, I’ve taken notice of the logo for Hydro-Québec.

Hydro-Québec est un important distributeur, transporteur et producteur d’électricité en Amérique du Nord. The logo is a classic and was designed in 1960 by Gagnon/Valkus, Inc. My research on the firm has turned up little information, so if there are any old-time Canadian designers out there with knowledge of this group, dites-nous en savoir plus, s’il vous plaît. Maintenant, il est temps pour moi d’aller vers le nord encore une fois. Bon voyage!
