Branded Entertainment Shows Results for State Farm

They created the musical group Los Felinos de la Noche, a made-for-TV band featured in the State Farm spots (as they go out in search of their big break). The group has become such a hit that it is now touring across the U.S., packing venues, selling CD’s, getting airplay and radio and TV appearances.

According to Mark Gibson, assistant VP-advertising at State Farm Insurance Cos., “The metrics show Hispanic consumers have a greater awareness and likelihood to consider the State Farm brand at any time.”  Source: AdAge.

What I like most about this multicultural campaign is that it carries out an integrated “red circle” theme, which is used as a branding element in the general market effort and borrowed from the corporate logo of the same hue, to convey the idea that “you are here” at this point in your life and when State Farm is there to help.

Like a good neighbor, right?
