The TropARKana

This past weekend, I was invited by our friends at the Ark to their annual fall fundraiser. This year’s theme was the TropARKana, featuring the music of Raul Malo.

True to the Havana nightclub theme, there were Tropicana-themed cocktails and the never disappointing Zingerman’s provided some yummy Cuban cuisine. I took my mom, an intense I Love Lucy fan, who really enjoyed the Lucille Ball quotes on the napkins. Little details like that are what make The Ark such a unique place we’re so lucky to have in our community. Remember, The Ark is a non-profit organization so membership and fundraisers like this one are what make the 300+ shows per year possible.
