I thought I would take a moment to write about a form of photography which I was introduced to just over a year ago- its called tilt-shift.
Tilt-shift is a method of photography where the camera lens is intentionally manipulated to distort the subject. The lens is tilted to adjust the plane of focus, and shifted to change the line of sight. A desired effect of tilt-shift photography is miniature faking. Miniature faking is taking a life-size subject and distorting it in such a way that the subject looks like a miniature scaled model.
Now let’s enjoy some fantastic examples tilt-shift photography. Please, click on the image to visit the source. Below the photos are some more resources, if you are interested, check them out.
